ORDERING

All cakes are bespoke and made to order. I only take on a limited number of orders each week to ensure each one receives the time and attention it takes to achieve an excellent finished result. The more notice you can give, the better! But do ask about availability, as last minute orders may be accommodated. Orders may be placed over the phone, or by email. Once a design and quote are finalized, a 50% deposit is required to secure your booking. Full Terms and Conditions of Sale are available here.

PRICING

Since each cake is custom-made, prices will vary, depending on the size, flavour and level of decoration required. However, the guide below will give you an idea of starting prices (based on round sponge cake, iced in white and edged in ribbon, with a simple message) :

PORTION GUIDE

Obviously, the number of portions you get from a cake depends on its size and how it is cut. Each cake comes with a cutting guide so you can get the most out of your cake. Here is an approximate guide to how many servings a cake will yield:

FLAVOURS

All cakes are 3 layers high as standard.

Without a doubt, my best selling flavours are:

  • Classic vanilla (vanilla cake, filled with vanilla buttercream and raspberry jam)
  • Rich chocolate (a decadent rich chocolate cake filled with chocolate buttercream).

Other popular options include:

  • Salted caramel (a vanilla cake filled with salted caramel and salted caramel buttercream)
  • Lemon (a lovely lemon cake filled with tangy lemon curd and lemon curd buttercream)
  • Cherry almond (moist almond cake filled with cherry jam and vanilla buttercream

But the world is your oyster! If you have a particular favourite, just ask.

SPECIAL DIETS

Do let me know if there are any allergies or special dietary requirements to consider when creating your cake. Please note that while I can produce cakes with ingredients which do not contain, eg nuts or gluten, I do use ingredients which contain these and other common allergens in the Kate Feakins Cake Design kitchen, and therefore cannot guarantee against traces.
